I was so proud of my girls yesterday as they preformed their first dance recital!!!! The theme was "Magicians" and their routine was adorable! They danced around, pulled a rabbit out of a hat, the whole nine yards, it was great. They were not timid and improvised a bit which made as laugh. For example, there was a time that everyone's hats were lined up and the performers had to put the bunnies in the hat, but where Felicity was standing, all the hats had been taken already, so instead of getting frustrated, she just placed her bunny in between two hats, and went on with the show. They seemed so small and cute!!! I was so proud!
Monica was very nervous and was considering not going. As soo as she learned that they got to wear make-up, she was super enthused and couldn't wait to perform. The top picture is of them on their way out the door to the performance.
They had been practising this routine for months, and it payed off, nervous and all but they had fun! Till next year :-)
